Instrumental

02.02-02.09.22

We can make change if we play together.
But first it’s time to pick up the tempo. CBG is charging ahead with Orchids Forever: Synergy and Survival, WJCU jocks are going for the Guinness record for longest interview, and Bella Sin is teaching burlesque history. You might want to catch a young Russian star performing at the Maltz, a voting rights activist speaking at the City Club, 24 cellists raising money for music scholarships, or drag artists taking on Valentine’s Day at the Grog.

You can heat up some Chili Con Comedy at the FAA, help Joshua Bell make music in Akron, or dig the jazz at BOP STOP, Jilly’s, or live online.

Whatever you do, let’s work together and make something happen this week. Be instrumental.

The Beauty and Value of Orchids

But it’s more. This year’s show, Orchids Forever: Synergy and Survival, looks at the role orchids play in our ecosystem, and how the interplay of the plants with their pollinators is crucial to the health of both, as well as to our environment.  Read More
