The monthly Dark Room open mic at the Church at CPT is back inviting writers to bring new material of any type — essays, dialogue, poetry, fiction— to be read by whatever actors show up to be cast on the spot.
Writers should bring up to ten pages of work to be read with enough copies for however many readers they require. Sign up for writers and actors is at 7pm; readings begin at 7:30. It’s first come/first served until all slots are filled.
There’s a $5 suggested donation but no one is turned away. And there’s free beer! You must be fully vaccinated or have a recent negative Covid test.
