Maria Neil Project, located on the second floor of building on the northwest corner of East 156th and Waterloo, is hosting a two-day-only pop-up show of work by four Cleveland Institute of Art students called Ransoms of the Body.
The work by Nicole Carroll, Frank Hadzima, Zoë Taylor, and Alexa Wehrman “seeks to explore the visceral feeling of inhabiting a body, drawing on quick snapshots of life taken from media or from their own personal experience,” according to the artist statement. Each artist projects a sense of bodies unraveling, using differing styles and approaches.
Stop into see how the students approach one of the classic subjects, the human body, and meet and talk to some young upcoming artists.
