We’re supposed to get a heavy snowfall at the end of the week, so perhaps by Sunday you’ll just want to hunker down at home and not dig out your car to go anywhere.
Good news! Cleveland-based vocalists Carol Leslie and Randie Shane are livestreaming an hour of music on Facebook Sunday night (rescheduled from Saturday due to health concers). Both have earned local reputations from their many performances at venues such as the BOP STOP, Nighttown and the Music Box Supper Club.
For this virtual concert, they’ll be doing a Beatles tribute, selections from the Broadway musical Jekyll & Hyde, favorites from the Great American Song Book and tunes associated with the actress/vocalists Ann Hampton Callaway and Liz Callaway. They’ll be supported by keyboard player Jonathan Hooper and bassist Tim Lekan, both stalwarts of the jazz scene.
