Cleveland Bazaar Offers Two Saturdays to Shop for Your Sweetie

Sat 2/5 @ 10AM-6PM

Sat 2/12 @ 10AM-6PM

The Cleveland Bazaar is the longest-running maker/craft fair in northeast Ohio, providing a stable outlet for local and regional artisans of all kinds. It runs the biggest holiday market in December at 78th Street studios, twice-monthly outdoor markets at Market Square Park in the summer, and its annual Valentine Market if you want to dazzle your sweetie with unique gifts — or maybe just treat yourself to something special.

We weren’t planning on buying anything last time we went to one of their markets but we couldn’t resist trying that peach lemonade, and that herbal salve just smelled so nice and we’ve been using it every day so we don’t feel too guilty. And some of that jewelry was just too unusual and beautiful to resist … so be careful!

Anyway, they’re running two markets, both with nice long, lingering hours so you don’t have to rush to get there in time or make all your purchases in a hurry. There’s even time to chat with the artists and craftspeople and learn their stories.

On Saturday February 5 they’ll be set up at 78th Street Studios — and don’t be surprised if some of the resident galleries, artists and shops are open too. On Saturday February 12, they’re back at Lake Affect Studios, which also has some resident shops, including our own Dru Thompson’s Dru Christine Fabrics and Design. There’s a bar on the second floor where the Bazaar takes place so you can stop and have a drink while taking a break from shopping.

And Cleveland Bazaar events are always free so you can spend all your cash with the vendors.
