The Cleveland Chamber Collection is an ensemble of the area’s top professional classical musicians, including members of the Cleveland Orchestra. They formed the group to bring classical music out into the community and turn more people onto it by going out to where they are, instead of waiting for them to come to a regular concert hall, as well as to perform less frequently programmed music.
One such non-traditional venue is Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s Happy Days Lodge, more often host to folk/bluegrass/Americana acts. But its rustic atmosphere, surrounded by nature, should give a special vibe to the string trios by Ernst Dohnányi and Beethoven it will be playing.
