Explore Nature at Night at Rocky River Nature Center

Sat 8/10 @ 8-11PM

Nature is rejuvenating at any time, but it holds all kind of intriguing creatures and activities at night. Cleveland Metroparks’ Rocky River Nature Center will share some of those after-dark nature stories at Nightlife, an evening of hikes, animal shows and interactive displays including a mothing station, a bioluminescence garden, telescope viewing and bats.

From 8-8:45, there’ll be a live animal show, courtesy of Bay Village’s Lake Erie Nature & Science Center and from 9-10pm a “Senses at Night” nature hike. Another “flashlights” hike takes place from 10-10:45. Planetarium shows will run half-hourly from 9:30-11pm and at 8:30, 9 and 9:30, there’ll be an opportunity to paint a pint glass with a picture of a nocturnal animal of northeast Ohio.

The evening is free, except for a $10 fee for the glass-painting.
