Let loose and give it all you’ve got.

Wade Oval Wednesdays is back, and just like in this photo of the last WOW in 2019, we hope you are enjoying the blossoming of spring and finding your joy again.   CoolCleveland correspondent Maya Kincaid spoke with David Ramsey, founder of new gallery Deep Roots Experience in advance of their opening this weekend of Generations: Artwork by Artists and Their Families. Summer festivals are coming back, so we’ve updated our popular CoolCleveland 2022 Festival Guide. CoolCleveland columnist and former judge and university board member C. Ellen Connally unloads both barrels on CSU’s controversial presidential exit package and on voters who sat out the 2016 Presidential election, leading directly to this week’s bombshell Supreme Court leak.

Don’t neglect to sign the Bike Cleveland Complete & Green Streets petition, catch the Pickleball tour in Mentor, explore performance art at Doubting Thomas, and enjoy Taco Week all over town. That should make you dance.

The DeepRoots Experience sits inconspicuously at the corner of 79th and Central. One green door serves as the entrance to an unexpected world of art. Generations: Artwork by Artists and Their Families opens Sat 05.07Read more by CoolCleveland correspondent Maya Kincaid.

Elections Have Consequences

So, if you sat home in 2016 and didn’t vote; or threw your vote away on Jill Stein or some other third-party candidate, or if you were one of those whiners who “just didn’t like Hillary,” then I don’t want to hear one word out of you about the high court’s decision. You put Trump in office, and he appointed the justices… Read more
As millions of Americans struggle to pay off student loans and parents try to figure out how they will be able to finance a college education for their children, it is disheartening to see university trustees, especially at an urban/commuter/essentially blue-collar school like Cleveland State, act as if they were dealing with monopoly money…  Read more.
