Barbara Merritt of 818 Studios in Tremont invited 16 Cleveland-area photographers to participate in a show she’s called the BIG Photography Show.
The “BIG” in this case refers to the size of the photos, with each photographer contributing 2-3 images 16 x 20 or larger. The photographers are known for work ranging from abstract to scenic, music to street photography, among other styles. Participating artists include Jay Brown, Matthew Chasney, Hadley Conner, Jacques Gauvin, Jef Janis, Keith Marlowe, Ken Matosky, Barbara Merritt, Bryon Miller, Karen Novak, Anastasia Pantsios, Danny Vega, Bob Perkoski, Barney Taxel, Steve Vacariello and Brad Williams.
The show will have two public viewings: an opening on Friday May 6 @ 6-10m and another during Walkabout Tremont, Friday May 13 @ 6-10pm. Both are free and open to the public. It will be on view though June 10. Call 216-870-2012 for appointment.
