Seven women artists and women-fronted bands showcased the contributions of women to rock & roll, both in the past and present. Each of the acts performed two of their own originals, and an interpretation of a song by a Northeast Ohio woman artist such as Rachel Sweet, Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders, The Waitresses, Chi-Pig, Tracy Chapman, the Secrets and Ruby & the Romantics. The performers include Brady Lorince, Medusa, Elliot Carter, Time Cat, Jet Star, Ali Garrigan and Queue Up and Vindys lead singer Jackie Popovic, accompanied by her two band members. The members of Vanity Crash backed some of the artists during their sets.
The show will be reprised in slightly different form at the Music Box Supper Club on Thursday March 19.
