Exhibit Focuses on Upcycled Fashion and Art

Fri 5/6 @ 6-11PM

A/O Gallery, located at the Hamilton Collaborative, is hosting a photo show called A Last Supper that it says “will start conversations about our culture of waste and demand while showcasing the beauty of upcycled fashion and art.”

It’s being put together by Upcy:CLE, which aims to encourage collaborations that simultaneously inspire environmental activism and artistic creativity.

It says that “This exhibition is a photography and art editorial that explores our relationships with waste, aesthetic demands, and convenience culture. The design and work behind the shoot itself provide an example of reuse, intersectionality, and community. “

The event will also feature drinks themed to the show’s subject matter, music for dancing and upcycled fashion. They’re asking for voluntary donations for future programming.
