Sat 5/7 @ 9-11AM
It’s always annoying to see the amount of trash people throw around our landscape, which becomes especially visible at the end of the winter. That’s why Canalway Partners hosts its annual RiverSweep to get rid of garbage around the Cuyahoga River watershed.
Join them this Saturday at one of ten locations, from Tremont to Slavic Village to Cuyahoga Heights, where you can join a group of people helping to clean and make friends who care as much about our watershed, and our environment, as you do.
And if you have a kayak or paddleboard, you can join the On the Water team and clean up junk from the river itself. If that sounds like fun and you don’t have a kayak, you can rent one for $20 with 9am and 10am rentals available.
Following the cleanup there’ll be an appreciation event where you can make more like-minded friends. To register to participate, go to CanalwayPartners/RiverSweep.
