As we change seasons, it’s a good time to rearrange our priorities, take in the fall offerings and turn over a leaf. Wizbang Theatre will clear your mind with an eclectic puppet show, A Current Year will celebrate six years and National Pierogi Day with a visit from the Mummy and the Monkey, CPT will open a renovated church building on their campus with an immersive new work, river otters will starĀ in a happy hour at CVNP, musicians will host a workshop on the ins and outs of orchestration, Leandra Drumm will speak at the Akron Roundtable, Mike Maimone will debut his new album at the Treelawn, and Future Ink will launch a new foundation to enhance the outreach for artists, designers and young people interested in graphics.
There’s an Oktoberfest in Kent, an apple harvest festival in Erie County, Boo at the Zoo in Akron, a vintage boutique on Lakeside, spooky pooches in Lakewood, a radio play on the lake, Craig Matis mountingĀ his show about abolitionist John Brown on the west side, and a Jewish film festival all over the east side. Switch it up.
