Again this summer, the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes is hosting a series of family-friendly midweek evenings with different themes.
They start this week with Native Plant Bing in the Friends Pavilion that educates participants about native plants as they strive to win a plant from the Avonlea Nursery during the game’s eight rounds. A $12 ticket includes eight rounds of bingo and three beer or mocktail samples. Register here.
Or you can choose not to play bingo, because there’s a lot else going on and your kids probably wouldn’t enjoy that anyway. Instead, you can play ladder ball, giant connect 4 or cornhole, or hang out in the kids’ play area. Or you can just take a stroll on the Nature Center’s beautiful trails. There are also snacks, drinks and ice cream available for purchase.
