Summer House opened in the former Swingos location at Lakewood’s Carlyle at a particularly unfortuitous time: March 2020. But it flourished at a time when people were hungry for the upbeat summertime vibe it offers year-round.
The Mediterranean-flavored menu of European and American choices offers warm-weather tastes for the palate, although the expansive views of Lake Erie and the downtown skyline probably won’t do much to amplify the summertime feeling in January.
