The Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory’s annual National Juried Exhibition gives Clevelanders the opportunity to see work on paper being done all across the country at Cleveland’s mecca for such work. The Morgan received 587 submissions from 320 artists in 37 states, and made a final selection of 61 works by 54 artists for the show, spanning handmade paper, sculpture, printmaking, photography and painting.
“This was our most competitive exhibition to date and the jurors had an incredibly difficult time selecting the works for the exhibition due to such high quality of submissions,” said Morgan founder/artistic director Tom Balbo in the show’s press release.
The shows with a free public reception on Fri 3/29 @ 6-9pm and remains on view through Sat 4/27. The gallery at Morgan is open Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm.
