Akron-based ensemble the Illusion Factory returns to the Akron Civic Theatre with the latest production in the Akron Civic Theatre Family Series.
This time it will present the world premiere of its take on the classic Hans Christian Anderson tale of The Emperor’s New Clothes. You know the story: two weavers tell a pompous emperor that they are making him the greatest suit of clothes ever, when in fact the clothes don’t even exist — but he convinces himself they do while observers laugh at him. Remind you of anyone you know of? Kid may not get it but the parents will!
Tickets are $12 for adults, $7 for kids 5-12, free for children 4 and under.
