You know if you go to Talespinner Children’s Theatre, you will have an experience that includes folklore, fantasy, humor and audience interaction.
Its upcoming show promises more of the delightful same. Adapted from a Grimm’s fairy tale by Cleveland playwright Toni K. Thayer and directed by Talespinner founder Alison Garrigan, Golden tells the story of a poor couple promised wealth by a “golden creature.” You just know there are going to be complications that lead to a realization about what really counts in life! Described by the theater as “part Grimm’s Faerie Tale, part Molière, and ALL fun,” they promise “This sparkling tale of loyalty, friendship, and family will have you on the edge of your seat.”
Performances run Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm and Saturdays and Sunday at 2pm through Sun 4/24.
