Thu 1/7 @ 7PM
The current set of exhibits at MOCA Cleveland closes on 1/10. That includes the engaging and provocative installations by Korean artist Do Ho Suh exploring the meaning of domestic spaces.
Before it goes, however, Kent State University associate professor of architecture Steve Rugare will talk on “architecture + migration” as part of MOCA’s Pont of View series. Using Do Ho Suh’s work as a starting point, he’ll look at how immigrants to Cleveland have changed the city’s built environment and how they have been changed by it. It’s free with museum admission, which is $9.50.
