The Millard Fillmore Presidential Library doesn’t sound like a place you’d go for a casual evening of hanging out, but don’t worry — the name is tongue-in-cheek, and the little pub on Waterloo is definitely not stuffy or snooty.
Formerly a rundown bar that rarely opened, a new owner took over and reopened it in early 2015, giving it a facelift and putting together a lengthy list of craft beers as well as a basic menu of bar food to go with it. Many nights you’ll find a local band or singer/songwriter holding forth as well.

Why did you choose to name your bar after Millard Fillmore our 13th President? Why did you include his presidential library also? What is the significance?
