Ferrante Winery & Ristorante is a Geneva-area destination for those who love Italian food served with Italian-style wines.
The Ferrante family started making wine in the Collinwood area in 1937 and moved their winemaking into the countryside where the grapes are growing. The winery opened in its current location in the 1970s. Third-generation winemaker Nicholas Ferrante is keeping the family tradition but enhancing the choices by crafting Gewurztraminer, Chardonnay, and Pinot Grigio.
The Tuscan-style villa facilities include beautifully-wrought outdoor patio seating. The kitchen serves traditional Italian fare with Italian bread and salad followed by cannoli for dessert.
