Formerly a wholesale business, Astoria Café and Market opened to the public in Gordon Square in late 2016, providing yet another addition to Cleveland’s growing array of small specialty food markets.
It fills a distinctive slot with its focus is imported foods from around the world with a special emphasis on the Mediterranean region, especially Greek and Italian. You’ll find cheeses, dried cured meats, grains, pastas, oils and vinegars, roasted vegetables, olives and much more.
In addition, there’s a café with an open kitchen when you can linger and enjoy some of the edible items they’ve got to offer or grab something to take home. And yes, there’s a huge beer and wine list so you won’t go without spirits to pair with your food, in true European fashion.
