The corner of West 11th and Kenilworth in Tremont has seen many restaurants come and go. Hopefully the appropriately named Corner 11 Bowl & Wrap, opened in early 2018, will beat the curse. The fast casual eatery is certainly more approachable and affordable than some of its predecessors.
The pan-Asian spot brings a new cuisine to the area: the Hawaiian-style poke bowl. The bowls, which come in three sizes go with the popular build-your-own trend, offering a choice of chicken, shrimp, raw salmon or tuna or tofu on rice or greens and topped with various sauces, fruits and veggies. In addition, the menu includes a small selection of Thai, Japanese and Chinese dishes.
