Lakewood is a progressive community where interest in community gardening, local food, and sustainable agriculture has been growing by leaps and bounds. Its farmers market is held right in the heart of town at City Center Park on Detroit Road between Warren and Cook. At the peak of the season, more than 30 vendors show up every Saturday morning. The market hosts musicians and cooking demonstrations as well.
The market runs Saturdays 10am-1pm, 6/29-10/12/2019.
