One of Cleveland’s longest running Memorial Day weekend traditions is the annual Tremont Greek Festival, hosted by the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, now in its 54th year.
For four days, people of all ages can enjoy Greek specialties, from gyros to spanakopita to baklava, prepared by members of the church, as well as other types of food, drinks, shopping from vendors selling handcrafted cultural items, and of course, Greek dancing and music by performers in traditional costumes. There are church tours as well to soak in the opulent setting and learn more about the Greek Orthodox church’s background. It takes place indoors and out so don’t worry about the weather.
Admission and parking are both free. Find a full schedule here.
