Cuyahoga Valley Nation Park is bringing back its monthly Rhythm on the River concerts, offering family-friendly afternoons in Howe Meadow adjacent to Indigo Lake and Beaver Marsh, with live music, food trucks and a Kid Zone with special activities for children.
Gates open at 2:30 with a DJ spinning music from 2:30-3:30pm, an opening act at 3:30 and a headliner at 4:30. To open the season, the Trust Drum Circle will kick things off, warming up the crowd for headlining act, popular local collective Apostle Jones, whose high-energy rock is infused with soul and blues influences, and whose performances, led by charismatic frontman Mikey Silas, energize audiences of all kinds.
Bring a blanket, grab something to eat from one of the food trucks and enjoy the (hopefully) nice summer weather. Admission and parking are free. No alcohol is allowed.
