Thu 10/1-Sun 10/25 @ 5-9PM
To the surprise of absolutely no one, the Cleveland Park Metropark Zoo is bringing back its Halloween special attraction, Boo at the Zoo, starting Wednesday October 1, and running through Sunday October 25. Its special attractions, such as the current Asian Lantern Festival running through Sunday September 12, and its holiday feature, Wild Winter Lights, are among its biggest draws, extending visits into the evening hours.
And with days getting shorter and dark coming earlier, the grounds of the zoo will get spookier, with immersive Halloween-themed displays (not really scary: the entire event is kid-friendly) photo opportunities, a dozen trick-or-treat stations to pick up candy, and a hay maze. There’ll also be costumed characters to pose with, a Monster Mash Dance Party and free rides on the Boomerang train. Performances by the Kooky Cellists, Rockin’ Robots and magician Rick Smith Jr. will provide entertainment.
The event runs Thursday through Saturday evenings from 5-9pm. Come in costume! Get your tickets HERE.
