SmokeFace is an Akron-based professional musician/recording engineer who has played guitar and bass in rock, funk, hip hop and jazz ensembles. He has toured with blues guitarist Eric Gales and played with Akron’s Red Rose Panic. He’s known for his unusual stage presenting: wearing a smoking mask.
This week he’ll be debuting as the leader of Tuesday night jam sessions at Akron jazz venue Blu Jazz+, focusing on creating original music. Bring your instrument and join in. All ages are welcome but under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. They’ll take place every other Tuesday. Admission is free.
