Taste Soups by Local Chefs to Help Feral Cats at Soupalooza

Sun 3/22 @ 1-4PM

You know that we avidly support the Waterloo Alley Cat Project, started more than 15 years ago by Pete and Debbie Gulyas, owners of Blue Arrow Records on Waterloo Road. In that time, they and their crew of volunteers have spayed and neutered around 500 cats, provide food and care for numerous feral cats in the area, and have found homes for the friendly ones.

Support them at an upcoming benefit called Soupalooza, organized by the one of the area’s biggest cat lovers, Jessica Manko. Taking place at one of her favorite hangouts, the Millard Fillmore Presidential Library at 156217 Waterloo, it will offer the chance to sample more than ten vegetarian soups made by local amateur chefs, and vote on your favorite. There will also be raffle prized to bid on and the chance to spend the afternoon with a roomful of cat lovers..

It’s just $10 at the door.
