SPACES is recognized as one of the leading, and one of the first, artist-run organizations in the country, focused on exhibiting artists’ work and supporting local artists.
During this time of crisis, SPACES has doubled down on their mission to serve as a resource for artists by supporting politically, culturally, and/or socially responsive artist projects, and they’ve refocused funding programs to address emergency needs brought on by the pandemic and current economic crisis.
