The Cleveland Hiking Club offers up to 460 hikes per month, and the group is celebrating their 100th anniversary this year. Think about that.
And then go take a hike. As we did through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, near Boston Mills Road at Riverview Road.
It happened to be the same morning that the Park was cutting the ribbon on their brand new Boston Mill Visitor Center.
Politicians such as Senator Rob Portman and Representative Dave Joyce were on hand to offer their speeches (and government support), along with 150 or so other National Park Service officials and well-wishers.
CoolCleveland got a sneak peek inside the new Visitors Center while the speeches were winding down. State-of-the-art, hands-on exhibits illustrating the Cuyahoga Valley history, watershed, Lake Erie and the natural wonders of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which attracts 2.2 million visitors per year.
