It’s time once again to fill the dance floor at the Slovenian SNPJ Farm in Kirtland, this time for the National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame’s annual Harvest Ball and Member Appreciation Day. Taking the bandstand will be the Zolka Family Band, cranking out the polkas and waltzes so the floor never needs to be empty. In addition, SNPJ will be serving food and drink for purchase all afternoon, and undoubtedly some ethnic specialties will be on the menu.

Polka Hall of Fame members get free admission, along with some undisclosed surprises; admission is free for everyone under 18 as well, to seed the next generation of polka fans. Nonmembers are $10 in advance from the Polka Hall of Fame (so you might as well join while you’re at it) and $12 at the door. Money goes to the Polka Hall’s mission of preserving and promoting NEO’s polka legacy.
