Junior Achievement (JA) is dedicated to educating young people about business, economics and personal finances. JA programs are taught by volunteers in class and after school in over 270 schools and organizations throughout Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake and Lorain counties.
This week, we’re joined by Joe Faulhaber, President of Junior Achievement of Greater Cleveland, (pictured above) to learn more about how it impacts our local community and youth.
On March 9th, its single largest fundraiser of the year, 2019 JA Bowl-a-Thon, will take place at several bowling centers across Northeast Ohio. Over the years, the event has raised over $5.8 million to empower the young people of Greater Cleveland, and prepare them for their future. There are so many fun ways to get involved with the Bowl-a-Thon! Start fundraising today and register as a team or individual.
We’ve also got new local music from the Tom Katlees (pictured above), who will be at the Beachland Ballroom on February 24th opening for Wild Moccasins, a pop band rolling through town, along with other local openers Meg & the Magnetosphere.
And we have a new track from Cleveland indie rapper, C.A.L.’s (pictured above) new album, Free My Line, which is available on iTunes and Spotify.
