Singer-Songwriter Jann Klose, Who Got His Start in Cleveland, Comes Back to Play the Music Box

Thu 7/5 @ 8PM

Jann Klose first came to Cleveland as a teenager on a one-year student exchange program. He returned to Cleveland from his native Germany in the ’90s to further his musical education and his career and was active in the local music scene, both as a singer/songwriter and a member of choruses such as the Cleveland Opera chorus.

He moved on to New York in 2000 where he’s lived ever since and built a bustling career. He’s released a couple of EPs and five albums, and now has a sixth, called In Tandem.

He’ll be back in town to share the music with his first fans at the Music Box Supper Club. There he’ll be joined by another Cleveland favorite who got her first recognition in the ’90s: former Odd Girl Out member Alexis Antes, now building a growing solo career with her thoughtful and infectious tunes and powerful yet nuanced vocals.

Tickets are $15.
