Fri 3/4 @ 6-9PM
Heights Arts’ next show blends two of Cleveland’s most thriving sectors – its food community and its art community.
At Table: Cleveland Culinaria features the work of 27 visual artists who have worked with area culinary artists to created five themed installations revolving around eating. Chefs Marc-Aurele Buholzer of Vero Pizza Napoletana, Doug Katz of fire food + drink and Provenance, Bob Sferra of Culinary Occasions, Edible Cleveland editor Noelle Celeste and food stylist Melissa McClelland have provided the unifying visions for the artists who have created everything from the chairs and tables to the linens to the tableware to the paintings and photos hanging on the walls.
The show opens with a reception Fri 3/4 @ 6-9PM and runs through Sat 4/16. The gallery will also host five special dinners, one for each of the installations, curated by the person who provided the concept. They take place Sat 3/13 (Celeste), Sun 3/20 (McClelland), Thu 3/24 (Sferra), Mon 4/4 (Buholzer) and Sun 4/10 (Katz). Each is $50 for food and drink; $40 for food only. Make your reservations now because space is limited!
