Chef Anthony Scolaro’s OneEleven Bistro offers quality dining out in exurban Medina in a chic minimalist/industrial setting. Patrons can enjoy a dinner of small plates, pastas, salads, and entrees that offer a upgraded spins on a variety of American staples (Lake Erie walleye comes dusted with Creole corn and citrus buerre blanc, and accompanied by pickled ramps, Chinese black rice and golden cauliflower) and international touches (the increasingly popular Banh Mi). You’ll find vegetarian selections and a “vegan chef’s whim” among the list of short rib, pork shank, hanger steak and burger. The Sunday brunch offers a list of dressed-up popular favorites and a whole lot of cocktail choices. Best of all, it’s not insanely pricey.
