Puerto Rican Parade and Festival Brings an Explosion of Fun and Culture to the Near West Side

Sat 8/2 @ noon-10PM

Sun 8/3 @ 11AM-noon (parade)

Noon-10PM

The Puerto Rican parade and festival has been celebrated in Cleveland for decades in many forms and at many locations. In recent years, as the Puerto Rican community here has grown, the event has become more organized and enjoyed better outreach to the community at large.  All types of groups are invited to participate in the Sunday parade as walkers, on floats or in vehicles, along Scranton Road on the west side.

Then for two days, you can join the Puerto Rican community for the festival takin g place at MetroHealth Main Campus’s Quad Park, 2500 MetroHealth Drive. Share in the joy of music and dancing to music from the Caribbean (expect a lot of reggaeton) and of course the tempting smells and tastes of Puerto Rican food.

It’s free and open to all.
