All good things must come to an end, including, alas, summer. All summer the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes has offered special Wednesday evening activities and events so that people could enjoy the Nature Center’s offerings on those long (not shortening) summer evenings.
This week, it’s End of Summer Soiree will be especially family friendly, with music by local kids’ entertainer Mr. Jeff at 6pm, and food available from the Delish Mobile Food Truck. And of course, you can walk the many trails and take in the fresh outdoor air surrounded by trees, meadows and native plants. Admission is free.
