Cleveland Americana band The Morning Bird was founded a little more than eight years ago by singer/songwriter Jeremy Taylor and guitarist Daniel Rice. Together with bassist Mark Mazak and drummer David Shullenberger, they forged a sound that blends rock, country and folk music, releasing a debut EP called Lonesome Leaving Sound in 2019. Drummer Dyan Moore and bassist Jeremy Summer later replaced the original rhythm section, and since then the band released several singles. Now they’re ready to drop the big one: an album called Dying Since the Day I Was Born, which they describe as “an album of songs about love and the lack thereof. Songs of longing for something more, while remembering the days gone by.”
They’ll debut it at a concert at the Beachland Tavern where they’ll share the stage with Carnivore and Song of Scott. Go here for tickets.
