Cleveland Metroparks’ packed schedule of free weekly concerts at six of its locations is starting to wind down — and doesn’t it seem like the just stared, like, a week ago? One of the biggest names in Cleveland music and a star of summer outdoor events will conclude the Edgewater Park series — Carlos Jones & the P.L.U.S. Band.

The band’s upbeat, inclusive, rockin’ reggae has been shedding its positive vibrations on audiences for nearly 30 years, They’ve been the stars, and biggest draw, at events such as Wade Oval Wednesdays and Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s Rockin’ on the River, and every year, they open and close the Music Box Supper Club’s Reggae Sundays series. Expect this concert on the beach to be a big draw and get there early to get a parking space. Of course there will be food trucks and drinks available for purchase. And you can wade in the water as you listen.
