The second annual Street HeArt Jam featured events both inside and outside Graffiti HeArt’s rainbow-painted building on the corner of East 49th and Superior Avenue. A 300-foot canvas wrapped a fence along East 49th and Superior where about 20 artists painted in their own distinctive styles, while a DJ cranked music and a food truck offered sustenance. Inside the building’s galleries the show Shaken Not Sprayed featured multimedia work by a large group of artists — some with street-style art backgrounds, other in different styles — all using spray paint. There were opportunities to make art in the tented courtyard next to the building and even a corn hole set-up in the street.
