Berea Animal Rescue Friends is a no-time-limit shelter that takes in homeless animals, provides spay/neuter services and medical treatment so they’re ready for new homes. In June 2020, the organization moved into a large new shelter that allowed it to serve even more animals.
As a nonprofit, it’s always holding events to raise the money it needs to help these animals become someone’s beloved pet. One of those events is its annual rummage sale, which features thousands of donated items to comb through and locate treasures. It takes place at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in the Junior Fair Building, at the same time as the every-weekend flea market there, so it’s paradise for bargain hunters.
Berea ARF will be offering household items, kitchen and tableware, electronics, office supplies, toys and games, books and DVDs, crafts, seasonal, sporting goods, jewelry and small furniture items, but no large furniture of clothing.
