Medina Affair on the Square Is a Day of Family Fun

Sun 8/8 @ 11AM-5PM

For the 29th year, Medina is hosting its Affair on the Square Craft & Vintage Fair in its downtown square, yet another handmade market where you can do your Christmas shopping now, picking up items you can be pretty sure no one else will give, including unique jewelry and home décor, soaps and lotions, vintage and repurposed wearables and much more.

Yes, there will be food trucks; you have to beat them off with a stick these days. Barrio’s, Manna Truck, Hatfield’s Goode Grub, Wholly Frijoles, Carhops Mobile Diner and The Cookery will all be driving into town to serve the shoppers. For snacking fun, Snowie Daze will have shaved ice, Granny’s Mini Donuts is bringing fried donuts, Buckeye Concessions will offer cinnamon roasted nuts, funnel cakes, and kettle corn and there’ll be ice cream, sorbet ad frozen custard at Webers Premium Ice Cream stand.

Music? You bet. Erin Nicole Neal & The Chill Factors will play Motown soul, funk & top 40 from 11am-1:30pm; Dave Parsons brings the classic rock from 2:30-5pm. Both will be on the gazebo stage. To keep the kids entertained while mom and dad are rocking out, there’s be balloon animals, a make & take craft booth and, yes, face painting. It’s the law now. You have to have face painting.

Admission is free. More info at affaironthesquare.net.
