There’s still time to enjoy some free music in a variety of relaxing, beautiful outdoor settings. And while yes, many free events and festivals DO feature a lot of tribute bands, lots of them also present some of the best local artists in a wide range of genres.
This Thursday August 27, Medina Public Square in the center of Medina’s downtown will be offering music by Erin Nicole’ Jazz in the Blue, fronted by vocalist/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Erin Nicole Neal. The busy musician has been performing around Ohio, and even outside the area, since 2015, with her FOUR bands and as a solo artist, in styles ranging from blues to soul to funk to rock to pop to R&B to jazz.
In Medina, she’ll be performing with Erin Nicole’ Jazz in the Blue blending classic jazz with blues and soul influences, combining standards, contemporary classics and originals.
Bring your blanket or lawn chair; grab some food from one of the many restaurants circling the square. And bring friends and family: the show should appeal to a wide range of listeners.
