Literary Cleveland’s annual Inkubator Writing Conference, which it’s saying is the largest free writing conference in the county, offers a full day of lectures, panels, author readings, workshops and more for writers in all genres, taking place at the downtown branch of the Cleveland Public Library. It closes with a keynote lecture by novelist Colson Whitehead at the MLK Branch of CPL at University Circle.
This year’s event is part of the yearlong, statewide “Beloved: Ohio Celebrates Toni Morrison” program so expect some of the panels and talks to address themes related to her work. In keeping with that, Inkubator starts on Friday evening September 9 with a free virtual panel discussion on Morrison to get writers revved up for the next day.
