The Kitchen Table Songs series at Visible Voice Books, hosted by one of the area’s most prominent and versatile musicians Brent Kirby (who’s handling the performer bookings for the store, something he’s done for many venues, events and festivals), gives him a chance to sit down with another local musician to delve into their music and their stories behind it.
This week he’ll be welcoming singer/songwriter/guitarist Jenna Fournier who became known as the frontwoman for the band Niights and currently performs as Kid Tigrrr. With Niights she released two albums and did four Japanese tours. As Kid Tigrrr, she released Stoned + Animald, who continues and builds on the gauzy, but hard-edged dream pop sound she explored with Niights. She also toured as bassist with Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins) and sang background vocals on Smashing Pumpkins’ 2024 album, Aghori Mhori Mei,
