Celebrate the Peach Harvest at Quarry Hill Orchard

Sat 8/15 @ 10AM-4PM

It’s prime peach season, and almost nothing is more flavorful that a juicy summer peach. If you’re a fan, drive on out to Quarry Hill Orchards in Berlin Heights for its annual Peaches and Cream event to celebrate peak peach harvest.

While the harvest wasn’t great this year due to a late spring, Quarry Hill’s Brooke Gammie says ““We may have a smaller peach crop, but we are making the absolute most of it. Families can still look forward to our signature peaches and cream sundaes, crafting fresh flower crowns, and enjoying a perfect summer day together in the orchard. It’s all about celebrating community and the resilience of the farm.”

There’s a full day of activities including music by local singer/songwriter Daniel Rylander and cover band Mojo Mix, shopping from local maker vendors in the Market Barn, wagon rides, “peachy” crafts, flower workshops, fresh produce and flowers for sale, and food from Sandusky’s Argentinian-style food truck The Gaucho and the Gringa. And to celebrate the harvest, there are peach-flavored cocktails and homemade peach ice cream.

Admission to the event is free; some activities require an additional ticket. Go here for more information and reservations.
