The Cleveland Kids’ Book Bank tries to make sure all kids in Northeast Ohio have the opportunity to get excited about reading by providing free books. It’s distributed more than five million books in its decade of existence.
In celebration of its 10th anniversary, a Reading Rocks concert at the Music Box Supper Club to benefit the Cleveland Kids’ Book Bank will feature some of the area’s best-known veteran musicians. Former Love Affair vocalist/keyboard player Rich Spina and Beau Coup guitarist Billy Sullivan both toured with Peter Noone of Herman’s Hermits for many years while drummer Don Krueger played with everyone from Beau Coup to the Eric Carmen Band. And they’ll be hosting a special guest: successful instrumental guitar star Neil Zaza, who’s just back from yet another tour of Europe.
