The La Macchina Molto Bella Car Show returns to Hale Farm & Village to showcase hundreds of beautifully preserved classic vehicles and exotic sports cars that will make automotive fans drool.
They offer an intriguing contrast with Hale Farm’s setting, featuring three dozen buildings that replicate a 19thcentury Ohio farming village, and offer a glimpse into what ordinary daily life was like them — and it didn’t include motor vehicles of any kind, let alone exotic sports cars. But visitors can toggle between eras, admiring the cars and then visiting the historical buildings, and seeing demonstrations of 19th-century handcraft, farm animals, and heritage gardens, while costumed interpreters share stories of what life was like when you had to grow your own brcause you couldn’t jump in the car and head over to Heinen’s or Dave’s.
Proceeds from the even support the Akron Society for Answered Prayers (ASAP Foundation), as well as the Kidney Foundation, Grace House, and Valor Home, all of which support struggling people in the Akron area.
