After years of working on the space, transforming a century-old Lakewood church, the long-awaited Birdtown Brewing finally opened in April, 2026. Stained glass windows and dark woods surround patrons who also have a view of the brewing tanks, something never imagined by worshippers of old. More than 250 people can enjoy the vast space at once, partaking of a variety of craft brews and a menu of Italian style food and pizzas provided by Geraci’s. Serious drinkers can buy an annual membership for $200 and get a variety of swag and happy hour prices all the time. Birdtown Brewing is open seven days a week, evenings on Monday through Friday, and open at 11am for brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
